Administrator for the Graduate Research Centre for Arts and Humanities
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator for the Graduate Research Centre for Arts and Humanities in the Faculty of Arts.
As Administrator you will support the experience of postgraduate research students in the Faculty of Arts by acting as their first point of contact for queries, funding support and training. You will advertise and support the distribution of research and conference funds to students as well as providing a range of communications to students, including through the PG Staff Student Liaison Committee and the Faculty PG Blackboard Site. You will also ensure that the Faculty PGR study space is fit for purpose and well maintained. You will support the Graduate Education Director and organise the provision of transferable skills training for research students.
You must have a proven track record in administration, preferably gained within a higher education environment. Your customer service and communication skills must be first rate and you must be able to work with staff, applicants and students at all levels. In addition, you must be highly numerate and analytical with strong attention to detail as well as displaying significant initiative and organisation skills.
