Lecturer in Marketing
This is a key post that will contribute to the ambitions of the University's new Strategic Plan 2017/18 - 2022/23.
The Marketing and Strategy department is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic academic at the Lecturer level specialising in the field of Fashion Marketing. The department's marketing portfolio currently includes foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate provision. At undergraduate level, the department currently offers the BA (Hons) Marketing Management, BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing Management and BA (Hons) Digital Marketing Management degrees, as well as compulsory modules on the BA (Hons) Business and Management with Marketing. The undergraduate suite of programme is complemented at Masters level by the MSc Strategic Marketing, MSc Fashion Marketing and MSc Digital Marketing have been added this year in addition to compulsory marketing modules on the MBA and MSc International Business Management.
The successful applicant will contribute to the teaching of a range of marketing modules - however, experience of teaching at master level would be particularly welcomed, as would experience of teaching fashion marketing. In addition, the applicant would be expected to work with the marketing field group to achieve the standards of professional accreditation and to develop research interests.
A willingness to engage with student welfare and programme management is essential.
