This is a key post that will contribute to the ambitions of the University's new Strategic Plan 2017/18 - 2022/23. To manage the Facilities / Campus Services area and lead, develop and co-ordinate the effective management of the "soft services" functions across all of the University's operations. You will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality, customer focused services within a value for money environment that will enhance the provision of academic courses and commercial activities.
To promote a positive image of Cardiff Metropolitan University and develop good working relationships with all users of the University, including internal clients, contractors and Communities relative to the University's facilities.
To develop and update operational policies and procedures, on a University wide basis and engage with external agencies and the local community to discuss shared issues and to promote social responsibility.
To deputise for the Head of Property in relation to Facilities Management responsibilities, where required.
