Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Data Science/Senior Research Assistant (holding the functional title of Senior Data Analyst) in the Department of Psychiatry, to commence as soon as possible for one to two years on temporary or fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in statistics, quantitative methods, computer engineering, or related fields. Those with less qualification and experience may be considered as Senior Research Assistant. Applicants should also have experience in mixed methods and expertise in handling large datasets. Motivation and capacity to learn new analytical and computational models are necessary. The appointee will be engaged in inter-disciplinary community projects, including a large-scale community-based early childhood intervention project in Hong Kong, under the supervision of Dr. Patrick Ip and his collaborators in psychiatry, education, social work, and various disciplines.  Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Patrick Ip at patricip@hku.hk.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basis salary.
