The University of Surrey is seeking to appoint a Direct Marketing Manager (Individual Giving) within the Advancement Office to develop, lead and implement a direct marketing fundraising strategy to secure philanthropic support. The role will report to the Head of Alumni and Supporter Engagement and is responsible for donor acquisition and development from our 110,000 strong global alumni community.

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious direct marketing specialist who will oversee a portfolio of fundraising activities including, but not limited to: direct mail, telephone campaigns, giving days, digital marketing and staff/student giving. This is a key fundraising/marketing role with budgetary responsibility and an overarching aim to promote and encourage philanthropic funds from Surrey’s alumni and key constituent groups which will contribute directly to achieving Alumni Engagement KPIs.
