Lecturer – BA (Hons) Fashion Photography
Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
In September 2016 the University launched a new BA (Hons) Fashion Photography Course. We are looking to appoint a Lecturer to support the Course Team and to help plan, design, deliver and organise the programme. You will have the skills or connections to develop links for external engagement and including amongst others, live briefs, competitions, and curriculum visits to offer an excellent student experience. Working individually and as a member of a team you will be expected to deliver teaching within a variety of settings including workshops, individual tutorials, seminars and lectures with a large audience.
The successful candidate will need to be educated to a minimum of degree level in a relevant subject, demonstrate experience of teaching in creative disciplines; and have extensive knowledge and expertise appropriate to Fashion Photography as a discipline, including emergent innovations, and contemporary contexts.
