This Post is Full Time and Fixed Term for up to 12 months.
Applications are invited for a teaching fellowship in Criminology to support the delivery of its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes during the academic year 2018/19. The post will involve convenorship of modules, supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate taught dissertations, contributing guest lectures and specialist support on a range of topics and support of the core functioning of our degree programmes through providing academic advice and undertaking academic-related administration. The post-holder will report formally to the Head of Department but will work on a day-to-day basis with the programme directors for Sociology, Criminology and Social Research Methods as appropriate
We are seeking to appoint a candidate with an excellent knowledge of Criminological Theory and invite applicants with a range of research specialisms. A subject specialism in the field of drugs and alcohol studies would be an advantage.
