Executive Director, EMBA Program, Questrom School of Business, Executive MBA
The Executive Director of the Executive MBA (EMBA) Program is a senior strategic leadership position within the Questrom School of Business. Responsibilities include planning, managing, and implementing a range of activities related to leading the EMBA Program and enhancing the student experience for the students.
The Executive Director participates in curriculum development, deployment of new learning technologies, and is the primary spokesperson for the program with all external audiences. The Executive Director will be expected to ensure exceptional customer focus in EMBA operations as well as alumni outreach and development.
The incumbent will oversee the provision of student support services, including advising, counseling, registration, and special events. Further, the Executive Director will meet regularly with individual students and student organizations and will represent the Questrom EMBA Program within and outside the School and University.
Within the School, he/she will serve as a key Questrom administrator, meeting with Questrom Deans and other Questrom offices to communicate program perspectives and needs. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Student Experience and Services, the Executive Director also collaborates closely with the School faculty and leadership on program design and curriculum development and delivery and is expected to be in touch with changing market needs.
Masters Degree required. Minimum of eight to ten years of progressive experience working with executives in an academic setting, marketing, customer relations, curriculum planning, and admissions. Must be a strategic planner who can readily change course based on the needs of the target audience. Prior experience with EMBA programs and Boston-area mid-career education preferred.
