UCA’s Business School for the Creative Industries brings innovation, creativity and idea generation to the heart of business education. With our specialist focus on creative arts, technology and business within the context of the creative industries, the Business School will have an international reach, collaborating with employers and global leaders within industry to cultivate graduates who achieve excellence in leadership and management, creativity in problem-solving and entrepreneurship.

The Director of the Business School for the Creative Industries has responsibility for the development of partnerships and recruitment in the UK and overseas as well as the enhancement of teaching and learning, research and consultancy through the school on behalf of the University. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate significant capability in these areas within a business school setting.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who will take forward an ambitious strategy for the business school, bringing experience and strategic vision to the role and demonstrating a track record of high quality research and consultancy across the disciplines within the school. Candidates will need to demonstrate they are capable of achieving high level outputs and a sustainable, resilient and engaged approach to a senior leadership role.

The role will be available with professorial title for suitable candidates.
