The University of Queensland’s Institute of Continuing & TESOL Education (UQ-ICTE), is a highly recognised and acknowledged international education and capacity development Institute that delivers exemplary English language, international training and development projects that advance learning and inspire people to contribute to their community, industry and government. UQ-ICTE activity includes the delivery of a wide range of English language courses, teacher training, professional development and continuing education programs to more than 8000 international students, academic staff, government officials and professionals from over 100 countries annually.
The Institute is involved in online training delivery and offshore training provision across the Institute's extensive network of government, institutional and corporate partners. Project, course and program delivery is also supported by the provision of test administration, including the IELTS, OET and Pearson Test of English, with extensive client and student support services
The successful appointee will provide ongoing support and assistance to the Market Development team and the Institute’s Executive. The role will focus on administrative tasks including maintaining databases, coordination of international marketing activities, arranging meetings and bookings and managing general enquiries coming into the unit.
Applicants should possess a certificate or diploma level qualifications with relevant work experience. A high level of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with international students and visitors is essential. Applicants must be highly motivated and demonstrate ability to work independently with a high-level organisation and time management skills.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 4. The remuneration package will be in the range $59,429.60 - $63,305.88 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $69,532.63 - $74,067.88 p.a.).
