The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Senior Project Officer is situated within the School of Graduate Research's Quality and Strategy Team. The role's purpose is to promote graduate research belonging at and beyond RMIT through managing and supporting ongoing development of a program of co-curricular, professional development for graduate researchers. You will also design, develop and implement strategic projects to enhance graduate researcher engagement, retention and empowerment.

Skills & Experience Required

As the successful candidate you will have a clear understanding of graduate research and graduate researcher experience in the context of Australian higher education. You will also have the ability to interpret and apply trends in global and national researcher development and support, and to apply them to the institutional context of enhancing the graduate research experience. In addition, extensive experience in consulting on, designing and implementing process improvement and/or change management projects in a complex environment will be imperative to your success in this role.
