Information Systems Operations Manager
Manchester CTU supports the development of and provides robust delivery of a wide range of academic clinical trials across Greater Manchester (and beyond), including those subject to UK national regulatory agency scrutiny.
A new opportunity has arisen in the Unit for an information systems operations manager, with experience of managing clinical data management systems within a highly regulated environment. The main purpose of this senior operational role is to lead, develop, coordinate and be accountable for all aspects of the data management and information systems required supporting clinical trial activities. You will be responsible for the management of the Unit’s Data Management and the Data Systems teams and will be expected to ensure development, validation and implementation of the information systems, including the main data capture and management system, and processes in line with the Unit’s strategy, ensuring compliance with both local and national requirements.
You will also work with the Senior Management Team to effect a cultural change towards a more flexible and agile organisation including building internal and external relationships to effectively provide general and trial/project specific systems and their implementation.
The ideal candidate will be degree (or equivalent) educated, with significant experience in the management and development of data management and other information systems to support clinical.
