About the Job

Be responsible for the management of the Academic Services function for the Division, involving high level expertise advice and support for academic and student administration. This includes specialised support to the Division’s schools for program development and review. Be responsible for maintaining professional working relationships with the Schools, Division and relevant Central Units to lead and implement new strategies and activities in Academic Services, achieving strategic and operational objectives.

Skills and Experience

Significant experience within a similar position with an understanding of the higher education sector would be highly advantageous, along with prior experience working in a management position within a complex service organisation. Strong skills in interpreting and applying policy; in addition, research skills and the ability to analyse complex data will be highly valued. Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience in being able to negotiate and influence senior staff to deliver positive outcomes will be essential in this role.
