Position Description

Postdoctoral Research positions in statistical methods development for environmental health, medical records/claims data and disease heterogeneity research are available in the Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with Dr. Molin Wang, Dr. Donna Spiegelman and colleagues. This position involves methodological developments and applied work aimed at the analysis of large-scale population-based studies with measurement error and other complexities. Applications to the prevention of chronic disease, and in environmental health will motivate the statistical research.

Basic Qualifications

Qualifications are a PhD in statistics or biostatistics, strong programming skills, as well as good written and oral communication skills. Prior course work in epidemiology and/or experience with epidemiologic data preferred. Candidates whose doctoral dissertation focused on survival data analysis and theoretical statistics will be preferred.
