Job Description

The Administrative Coordinator supports the administrative functions for Student Health Services. This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Finance and Administration but also work closely with the Executive Leadership of Student Health Services. Essential functions include purchasing office supplies and equipment, processing invoices and shopping carts, managing student employees, providing events logistical support (room reservations and setup, ordering catering/ supplies) and travel expense/ reimbursement reports. The Administrative Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for all phone inquiries to the office and is the meet and greet for the Finance and Administration office suite located at 930 Commonwealth Avenue.

Required Skills

BA/BS required; and one to three years of relevant experience. Careful attention to details is necessary. Ability to learn new skills, work independently, anticipate office needs, set priorities in consultation with others, and handle sensitive/confidential information essential. Broad knowledge of Boston University, university systems and processes (procurement, payroll etc) preferred. Familiarity with MS Office, Suite is required. Ability to communicate with diverse university-wide constituencies, including academic administrators, students and varied other offices.
