Department of Marketing, Events and Tourism

The Faculty of Business are seeking to recruit a specialist in Hospitality Management. This role would be based in the department of Marketing, Events and Tourism at the University of Greenwich Old Royal Naval College site in London.

This role will involve teaching undergraduate Hospitality Management students across a range of courses, in particular in relation to food and beverage issues.  The role requires very strong industry networks and includes supervising students who will be carrying out internship placements in a variety of hospitality settings

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate expertise in the fields outlined above, along with lecturing or teaching experience, ideally in higher education. Candidates must be committed to providing a high quality of student experience, and must have good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

The hourly paid lecturer rate of £44.71 includes time for preparation and marking, and staff are only paid per hour of teaching contact time with students. Appropriate induction and resources are also provided.
