Research Assistant in the Department of Psychiatry
Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 201800936) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in psychology, biomedical sciences, neurosciences, or any relevant subjects. Proficiency in math modelling and programming such as Matlab or R, and neuroimaging software will be highly preferred. Applicants should have a strong commitment to high quality research; excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; a proactive problem-solving approach; and the ability to prioritize work and maintain a high level of effectiveness. The appointee will manage, analyze and clean neuroimaging data; query databases to create reports and to determine the accuracy of data entered; export/import data between different sources; write and edit existing codes to organize data for analyses; check incoming neuroimaging data for completeness and accuracy; and process the data with available scripts.
