Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine Practice in Critical Care Medicine
Applications are invited for appointment as Non-Tenure Track Clinical Assistant Professor of Practice in Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Medicine, to commence as soon as possible, on a four-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong and with a higher professional qualification of Specialty Fellowship of the relevant Hong Kong colleges under the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine or equivalent. They should have a solid track record of clinical services in critical care medicine and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, and be able to contribute to the enhancement and development of courses for the Faculty in the broad spectrum of medical and health sciences education. Proven capacity and potential in performing research in their respective field would be a clear advantage. Direct communication with patients is required and the languages employed are English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. A monthly cash allowance will be offered to the successful candidate. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
