UTS Business School is seeking, as its next Associate Dean, International, an outstanding leader with strong international experience and excellent academic standing.
With over 11,000 students and nearly 200 academic staff, UTS Business School is the largest Faculty in the University and is one the largest business faculties in Australia. The Business School offers programs through its partners in China and enjoys research and industry partnerships across the globe. It promotes connectedness by linking with other key disciplines for the University including health and STEM.
Reporting to the Dean of UTS Business School, the Associate Dean, International is responsible for the development and implementation of innovative international engagement policies and strategies within the Faculty, and the effective strategic management of international relationships of the Faculty. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership and management ability, demonstrated capacity to identify new opportunities and build collaborative relationships internally and internationally, alongside strong strategic, operational and change management skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a highly competitive, complex and rapidly changing environment will be essential.
UTS is uniquely located in the heart of Sydney, one of the world’s most exciting cities and forms the nucleus of the CBD’s creative innovation precinct. UTS Business School is housed in the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building and is the first Australian building designed by Frank Gehry, one of the world’s most celebrated architects. The building is a flagship project of UTS’s billion-dollar-plus City Campus Master Plan.
