The new Institute will synergise and coordinate campus-wide activities at the intersections of technology, natural sciences, social sciences, arts, policy, regulation and governance, business, medicine and ethics, across College and School boundaries within the entire university in a seamless manner under one umbrella.

NTU Singapore is currently seeking a Professor and Director for NISTH, to enable it to become a global thought leader in the understanding and shaping of the technological revolution, exploring its consequences for societies in Asia and worldwide, and anticipate potential consequences so that each new breakthrough can be directed towards the betterment of humanity.

The Director will be an internationally recognised scholar in areas cognisant with the Institute, with evidence of driving multidisciplinary projects, and a thought leader with a track record of engaging in public discourse and policy development regarding technological advancement and its effect on society.
