The Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor will contribute to research and teaching within a School environment and work with research teams/programs and partnerships in the School. The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor is required to undertake research activities in line with the University's research strategy that emphasises relevant and translational research.

The successful candidate will develop a successful new research group, preferably in an area of study that embraces neuroplasticity, neurophysiology, neural repair and/or brain ageing, with an emphasis on translational aspect to human health.

Skills & Experience Required

You will have a prominent national research profile at the very least and to be considered for an Associate Professor level, will need to be able to demonstrate a strong international profile. You will have sustained success in attracting research grants in the study of Neuro development in Health & Disease will be highly desirable. In addition to your research expertise you will be accomplished and successful in delivering courses/subjects to students at all levels of the higher education journey. Experience in supervising higher degree by research candidates and success in research leadership will be essential to your success in this role.
