This is an exciting time to join the Faculty of Management and Law at the University of Bradford. As a leader in teaching, research and knowledge exchange, we have more than 50 years’ experience of pushing the boundaries, regionally, nationally and internationally. We are proud to have ‘triple accreditation’ from the three leading international bodies, AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS. We perform well in the Financial Times (FT) rankings and continue to build on our research strengths in readiness for REF 2020. Our activities cover a full spectrum of business disciplines as evidenced through our academic programmes at UG, PGT and PGR. We teach undergraduate, masters and doctoral students, deliver executive education and consultancy and create new knowledge through our research. We are passionate about Making Knowledge Work.

The University of Bradford is a technology university with great strengths. Our ambition is to build on our heritage and areas of strength, with a vision to be a world leader in:
(a) the creation of knowledge through fundamental and applied research;
(b) the dissemination of knowledge by teaching students from all backgrounds;
(c) the application of knowledge for the prosperity and well-being of people.

The School of Law is a dynamic and exciting place to work, with a focus on Law as a driver for change and a strong commitment to social justice. The School is currently seeking to appoint a Lecturer(s) to join an enthusiastic and motivated team of academics. The successful candidate will be required to contribute towards teaching on programmes at UG and PG levels, as appropriate. We welcome applications from candidates with knowledge and interest in any one or more areas of our UG curriculum. We are especially interested in candidates with well-developed knowledge in any one or more of the following areas: International Criminal Law, Human Rights Law, and Environment and Natural Resources Law. A commitment to research is required, and a track record of outputs in reputable academic journals will be an advantage. The post-holder will be expected to work closely with established partners and contribute towards the Law clinic as necessary.

This role is aligned with the University Strategy that promotes the development of international academic partnerships, developing and expanding commercial links to support our mission, vision and values. Therefore, the ability to persuade, influence, motivate and establish credibility with a wide range of stakeholders is essential.
