Post-doctoral Fellow in Biochemistry
Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (2 posts) in the School of Biological Sciences, to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry or equivalent. They should have a strong background in protein biochemistry/purification, structural and molecular biology. The appointees will use advanced biochemical, genomic and imaging approaches to study the structures and function of DNA replication complexes in yeast and higher eukaryotes. Training opportunities in cryo-Electron Microscopy (cryo-EM) to solve high-resolution structures will be provided.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
