Job description

The University is looking at appoint an experienced Project Officer to support the delivery of the Upskilling Lancashire multi partner project funded by the European Social Fund. The successful applicant will work closely with the delivery teams to ensure timely, efficient and accurate project compliance in line with the funder regulations.

The Project Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance across all aspects of the project. This will include monitoring and approving expenditure, to ensure financial ESF compliance, work closely with external partners and managing the ESF financial claims process and associated systems.  The post will work closely with the delivery teams to ensure comprehensive and robust audit trails are in place.

Experience of working on a European Social Funded Project will be essential for the successful applicant as well as the ability to work to external deadlines.  Education to degree level or equivalent is essential supported by attention to detail, project management skills and experience co-ordinating multi partner projects.
