The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Students is a new position created to guarantee a focus on the student lifecycle from raising aspirations through to graduation. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Students will also be the Head of the Cairns Campus.
We are looking for an inspiring leader with a passion for excellence in teaching and learning and the knowledge and experience to guide academic and professional agendas aimed at advancing the student experience. The appointee will play a key role in the implementation of the University's Academic Plan and shape the teaching and learning and student experience strategy of a complex, multi-campus University. The successful candidate will also have the ability to build productive relationships and strategic alliances, both internally and with external stakeholders, coupled with the intellectual and operational agility to respond to the challenges faced by regionally based higher education institutions.
