As a Senior Administrator within the Department of Psychology, Sociology & Politics, you will play a key role in supporting our research and knowledge transfer activities. You will enable high quality decisions to be made about research development and quality. As a highly motivated professional, you will be responsible for support and guidance for ethics processes; research bid submissions; support for the development of stakeholder relationships, e.g. liaison, CRM activities, event organisation and contract management; support for R&KT activities and co-ordination, and providing information and advice to stakeholders.

Experience of using a range of IT systems is essential as is the ability to problem solve. You will work closely with a range of stakeholders across two campuses and therefore must be a confident and efficient communicator, with the ability to work independently, and plan and prioritise your workload. You should have experience of working in an office environment. Accuracy and attention to details as well as flexibility are also crucial. You will be expected to work closely with other team members and deputise for your line manager where required, providing a consistent and professional service.
