Regent’s Park College

College Librarian

Regent’s Park College, a Permanent Private Hall of the University of Oxford, seeks to appoint a full-time permanent College Librarian who will have overall responsibility for the management and development of the College’s Library Services. Based in the College Library, the College Librarian will manage its day to day affairs with the help of a part-time Library Assistant, and will also be involved in and direct the work of the Angus Library and Archive, a major archive for Baptist history and heritage, where the day to day responsibility will be held by the Angus Librarian. The College Librarian currently manages three members of staff.

Applicants should have education to degree level and a professional library qualification or evidence of significant progress towards one.  Experience of managing staff and budgets, and automated cataloguing to AACR2/RDA and MARC21 skills required, preferably in an academic library setting.
