The University is now looking to appoint a new Vice-Principal Student Recruitment.  This role will be accountable through the Principal to the University Court for leading the development of the University’s Student Recruitment Strategy.  S/he will champion student recruitment, marketing and admissions to the University in accordance with this strategy and provide strategic vision, motivation and leadership in promoting the University as a destination of choice to all potential undergraduate and postgraduate students.  The VP will also ensure that the programmes offered by the University meet the needs and ambitions of contemporary home and international students.

Good candidates will bring well-developed leadership and management skills and a proven track record of developing and implementing student recruitment strategies.  Knowledge of home, EU and international student recruitment markets coupled with an awareness and understanding of the key issues and challenges facing the higher education sector will be important attributes.  The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills and an ability to develop strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
