The University is now looking to appoint a new Senior Vice-Principal (SVP). Accountable through the Principal & Vice-Chancellor to the University Court and working closely with the Senior Management Team, the new SVP will make a significant contribution to the delivery of the ambitions, values and strategic goals of the University as set out in the Strategic Plan. The SVP will deputise for the Principal, provide direct line management to all Heads of School and have strategic oversight of the delivery of School plans. The SVP will also work closely with the Vice Principals, University Secretary, and other members of the Professional Services leadership team.
Good candidates will bring a proven track record of success at a senior level in developing and implementing academic strategy. S/he will also possess the ability to foster and deliver a strong performance ethos coupled with highly developed interpersonal and motivational skills. Candidates should bring significant leadership and management experience, strong personal impact and gravitas and an awareness of key issues and challenges facing the Higher Education sector.
