Assistant Director, Enrollment, Financial Assistance
The Assistant Director for Awarding will help Boston University Financial Assistance achieve Boston University's goals for recruitment, retention and superior service by assisting students in financing their education through financial analysis, planning and advisement. This position will work as part of a team and manage a caseload of undergraduate students. This position will evaluate, analyze and process detailed confidential reports to determine student eligibility for financial assistance using both federal and institutional methodology. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Working knowledge of federal and state financial aid policies, procedures and regulations are preferred.
Bachelor's degree and at least one to three years of experience in a service and detail oriented position, strong analytical and organizational skills.
