Facilities Officer, Marketing and Publicity Officer
Facilities Officer (holding the functional title of Marketing & Publicity Officer) in the Robert Black College (Ref.: 201800901) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Established in 1967, Robert Black College provides accommodation in a cordial academic environment for scholars and other visitors who are engaged in activities at The University of Hong Kong.
Applicants should possess a recognized university degree, with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in public relations, event management, preferably in hospitality industry or commercial sector. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, people, organizational and problem-solving skills; positive working attitude, and be self-motivated and attentive to details with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to handle multi-tasks. The appointee will organize and co-ordinate conventional and innovative College events, handle publicity, provide administrative and secretarial support to College administration and perform other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
