The Griffith University School of Human Services and Social Work offers a range of educational programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Logan and Gold Coast campuses, with an external Masters of Social Work through Open Universities Australia. The School has a strong research focus, with academic staff from diverse disciplinary backgrounds.
This position is integral to the continued delivery of the Schools programs .The Lecturer may teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses both on campus and conduct online teaching as required and contribute to scholarship in learning and teaching. The position will contribute to the administration and promotion of the School and its programs. The post has a particular strategic purpose for the School's engagement with online education.
This is a continuing, full time position primarily based at the Gold Coast campus, however the successful applicant will also be required to work at the Logan and Nathan campuses.
The successful applicant will have tertiary qualifications in Social Work and preferably a PhD. The applicant will also have experience in course development and teaching both on campus and online. Expertise in a relevant area of research and/or pedagogical development is highly desirable. The appointee will work with the School's Social Work industry partners to achieve excellence in social work and human service.
Lecturer, Level B: $92,511 - $109,860 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $108,238 - $128,536 per annum.
