The School of Business and Law develops industry-ready graduates through high quality teaching and learning experiences and engaged, applied research. The School offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate, coursework and research Business and Laws degrees designed to give students relevant theory, practical work experience, and key employability skills. In the 2017 Federal Government’s Quality Indicators in Learning and Teaching (QILT) results, for the study areas of Business and Management, ECU ranked number 1 of the 37 public universities for: overall quality of education experience; teaching quality; skills development; and student support.
The School’s overarching priorities over the next five years are to reposition and grow. In a fast-evolving global economy it is vital to remain innovative, with an agenda to demonstrate continuous improvement.
The School of Business and Law is seeking to appoint a Lecturer with a background in a business related discipline who will contribute to the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program.
As well as contributing to the growth of their discipline in research and teaching, the successful applicant will:
- Have successfully completed a PhD
- Develop, implement and evaluate quality work-integrated learning units in the School
- Liaise with the WIL Coordinator and other academic discipline coordinators in the development and implementation of WIL interventions and units
- Engage in research in WIL, including sourcing funding, presenting findings and embedding learning into teaching practice

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, ongoing position attracts a salary of $97,579 to $115,578 (ALEVELB) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
