Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice
The School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences is committed to providing the best possible student experience and as part of this commitment we are seeking to appoint three Lecturers/Senior lecturers to the pharmacy practice team. You will join a School that has the full 6 years' re-accreditation for the MPharm programme from the General Pharmaceutical Council and now also offers an expanding suite of postgraduate provision, including a new MSc in advanced Pharmacy Practice and independent prescribing.
Successful candidates will contribute to the social, administrative and clinical aspects of the MPharm and postgraduate programmes in the School, as well as helping with course developments across the practice portfolio. The successful applicant needs to hold a health-related first degree [e.g. pharmacy, nursing, medicine etc] and will ideally be registered with their respective regulatory and professional body. Current/recent experience of working in a health-related field is essential, along with experience of teaching in FE or HE. Knowledge of novel and innovative teaching styles is desirable as is the status as a prescriber. A motivated and enthusiastic individual, the successful candidate will be an active networker, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
