Senior Research Fellow For The Dept Of Nanobiotechnology

Applications are invited for the Post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the (DRDO) Funded Project in Centre for Nanobiotechnology [CNBT], Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).

Title of the Project:    A rapid and deployable portable sensor for acetyl cholinesterase inhibitors detection

Qualification:    M.Sc (preferably with NET/GATE) /M.Tech (Biotechnology / Nanoscience / Nanotechnology / Chemistry / Biochemistry) with at least two years of Research experience in the relevant area after M.Sc./M.Tech as evidenced from the published papers in SCI indexed high impact journals.

Desirable (if any):
1.    Experience in synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles
2.    Exposure in handling various analytical instruments
3.    Experience in enzyme assays, immobilization and biosensor fabrication techniques

Stipend:    Rs.28000/- per month + 10% HRA

Sponsoring Agency:    Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO)

Duration    :    02 years [Initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to 2nd year solely based on yearly performance].
