About the position

This position will primarily help complete research projects for a NHMRC partnership grant led by La Trobe University, Healthscope, Holmesglen Institute and other partners under the direction of Profesor Meg Morris. The project aims to prevent falls in Australian hospitals, including Healthscopes 44 hospitals,  through excellent collaborative research and translate knowledge to policy and practice. This position is part-time and the hours worked can be flexible equivalent to 3 days per week and occasional visit to Hospitals may be required.

Skills and Experience

  • Completion of a PhD or equivalent quallifcation or research experience.
  • A record of publications, conference papers and/or reports, or professional or technical contributions which provide evidence of strong research potential.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, or co-supervise, Honours, Masters and/or PhD students.
  • Sound analytical skills with an ability to communicate complex information clearly both orally and in writing.
