You will work with the Social Media Manager to support and develop social media content creation for the University. The purpose of the role is to further develop our engagement with a variety of audiences. You will be committed to creating highly engaging content and show a strong awareness of the specific requirements of our audiences across different channels.

Role Description 

Cranfield is a world-renowned, specialist postgraduate University, creating leaders in technology and management. 

Communications and External Affairs (CEA) is the professional services lead responsible for enhancing and protecting Cranfield’s reputation, engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders and raising awareness of Cranfield’s brand and its distinctiveness. 

 You will work with the Social Media Manager to support and develop social media content creation for the University. The purpose of the role is to further develop our engagement with a variety of audiences. You will be committed to creating highly engaging content and show a strong awareness of the specific requirements of our audiences across different channels. 

 You will be educated to degree level in Photography, Media Production, Journalism, Communication Studies, PR, English, New Media or a similar subject. You will be a keen user of social media with excellent awareness of how it can be used as a communications tool for an organisation. You will have a good understanding of the principles and practices of marketing communications and branding, and be able to take a pro-active approach to the creation of content including photography, video, infographics and blogs.
