Programme Officer (PR428/17-18)
The appointee will work primarily in the administration of student exchange programmes, including processing incoming and outgoing student applications, liaising with offices of the University and coordinators of overseas host institutions, handling enquiries of incoming and outgoing students, and making logistical arrangements. He/She will be responsible for organising orientations and student activities, promoting programmes and recruiting students, assisting in incoming and outgoing visits, networking with exchange student alumni and other duties assigned by the supervisors. The job requires occasional duties in the evenings and on weekends and traveling overseas.
Applicants should possess at least a Bachelor's degree with at least four years of work experience, preferably in related fields. An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua) is required. Applicants should be a self-starter with outgoing personality and positive attitude, passionate in working with students, attentive to details, and able to multi-task, work independently and under pressure. They should also have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants should also be student-oriented and a congenial team player. Proven experience in student activities, overseas work and/or study experience will be an advantage. Strong leadership and coordination skills are desirable qualities of the appointee.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
