The Law School of East China University of Science and Technology was founded in 2006. It is a new school with the feature of intersection of arts and sciences, and is based on the advantages of the science and technology disciplines as the background. The Law School sets up Law Department, Juris Master (JM) Education Management Center, Intellectual Property Research Center, Law and Sociology Research Center, Energy and Resources Environmental Law Research Center, Food and Drug Administration Research Center and other institutions. Now there are 35 faculty members and 27 full-time teachers in the Law School, namely 4 doctoral tutors, 8 professors, 12 associate professors, 7 lecturers, 14 with overseas study experience and 18 part-time professors both at home and abroad.
Under the guidance of the discipline construction thought of "integrating into the mainstream of law and highlighting the cross-over features", the Law School relies on the advantages of science and technology from East China University of Science and Technology, has formed a system of disciplines not only represented by research in Law and Sociology, Intellectual Property and Food and Drug Administration but also characterized by "strengthening advantages, highlighting characteristics and mutual support". The Law School now has two undergraduate majors: Law and Second Bachelor's Degree in Intellectual Property.
Currently, the Law School has a Doctorate authorization center in Law and Sociology and a first-level master's degree authorization center in Law which contains five second-level master's degree authorization center: Legal Theory, Criminal Law, Economic Law, Environment and Resource Protection Law and International Law. The Law School also has JM (includes Law and Non-Law) degree authorization center. Under this the Law School have four research directions: Intellectual Property, Food and Drug Administration, Lawyer Services and Corporate Law and Economic Law. In addition, it has the part-time Juris Master (JM) admission qualification as well.
With the basic concept of "wide caliber, thick foundation, heavy theory and heavy ability", the Law School devotes itself to cultivating high-quality complex talents that have solid theoretical foundation of law and extensive professional knowledge, be familiar with the legal system of market economy and have strong practical ability and innovative spirit. Students graduated from the Law School are qualified to handle law-related work such as public prosecutions, law firms, enterprises and university scientific research institute. In recent years, the post-graduate employment rate and the adoption rate for applying for permanent residence in Shanghai have been 100%.

1, Applicants should have a PhD in the fields mentioned above or be close to completion of PhD.
2, You will also be required to demonstrate proven experience in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
3, You will be expected to have a fine publication record which is commensurate with the position you are applying for.
4, For those who are applying for an Associate Professorship or Full Professorship, you will also be expected to have a fine record on research grants.
5, Candidates with an oversea educational background will be given priority.
The salary package and the benefits will be commensurate with what the University will offer.
1. Candidates are expected to be able to teach courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
2. Successful candidates are hoped to be able to fit into the existing research clusters of the school, and at the same time develop their own research focuses. Each faculty member is required to meet the publication standards set up by the school.
3. Successful candidates are expected to take on administrative work assigned by the school.
