Location:     University Park
Salary:     £22,876 to £27,285 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The School of Psychology is one of the leading schools for psychology in the UK offering students state of the art resources to support their studies. In the latest Research Excellent Framework (REF) the School was part of a unit of assessment (Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience) that was ranked in the top 10 in the UK for research power.

The purpose of this role is to:
•    provide financial and resource management for School accounts and scholarship budgets; 
•    provide administrative leadership to assist the Head of Operations on a daily basis in order to ensure an excellent administrative support service is delivered;
•    lead continual improvement and planning of the School procedures, processes, projects and events.

Candidates must be educated to HND/HNC level (or equivalent) including Grade C or above in English and Mathematics at GCSE (or equivalent), with some relevant work experience OR substantial relevant work experience gained through a series of progressively more demanding roles. They must also have a high level of attention to detail, and experience of planning their own work activities in response to differing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a full-time permanent position.
