An initiative of the Department is the recently formed Academy of Continuing Professional Development in Education (ACPDE). ACPDE offers diverse professional development courses from across Macquarie University to NSW teachers, enabling teachers to learn directly from the experts who are leaders in their fields.
The Department is currently seeking a Manager, ACPDE to further develop and streamline ACPDE business operations, including the establishment of efficient Academy procedures, processes and systems.
As an experienced business or office manager, you will oversee the Academy’s business and financial operations, ensuring alignment with the Academy’ strategic objectives while maintaining compliance with external regulations.
Your thorough understanding of the changing education environment will enable you to build the Academy’s profile with a diverse range of external stakeholders and identify opportunities to drive business growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to be part of the formation and establishment of a Macquarie University strategic initiative, working with a team committed to the Academy’s ongoing success.

- Demonstrated experience in business, office or administration management, including the development and implementation of procedure, processes and systems
- Working with a range of stakeholders to plan, co-ordinate, deliver and evaluate a range of projects and/ or programs
- Remaining well informed of changes to external regulatory requirements and aligning business practices to external requirements.
- Building strong relationships and/ networks to identify potential opportunities.
- Understanding of or experience developing/ managing quality assurance protocols for professional development
- Experience supervising a cross functional team.

Salary Package: Will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
