Manager, Academy for Continuing Professional Development
Macquarie is a university engaged with the real and often complex problems and opportunities that define our lives. Since our foundation 54 years ago, we have aspired to be a different type of university: one unbound by ivory towers and sandstone walls. Rather, we are focused on fostering collaboration between students, academics, industry and society, encouraging all to traverse the boundaries of their own perspective and affect change.
Within the Faculty of Human Sciences, the Department of Educational Studies aspires to be a leader in education across the life-span. Our mission is to be a global leader in education and an institution of service and engagement which delivers a transformative learning experience and impactful research. We are committed to maximising opportunities for children, families, schools and communities through research, teaching, learning and advocacy.
An initiative of the Department is the recently formed Academy of Continuing Professional Development in Education (ACPDE). ACPDE offers diverse professional development courses from across Macquarie University to NSW teachers, enabling teachers to learn directly from the experts who are leaders in their fields.
The Department is currently seeking a Manager, ACPDE to further develop and streamline ACPDE business operations, including the establishment of efficient Academy procedures, processes and systems.
