Classification: ANU Officer Grade 6/7 (Administration)
Salary package: $78,956 - $91157,per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-time, 12 months fixed term
The Joint Colleges of Science (JCS) administration team delivers high quality administrative support and leadership to the core academic activities of research and education for the ANU Joint Colleges of Science, the most research intensive unit of the University. The Senior Research Management Officer is a part of the Research Management team in JCS administration. This is a key administrative role delivering high quality research management services to scientists within a supportive team environment. The successful applicant will be an experienced administrator with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and interpret and provide strategic advice on policy and funding guidelines.
Successful applicants will have demonstrated experience in research management, a strong customer service focus with well-developed liaison skills, and the ability to exercise judgement and initiative. Excellent administration and organisational skills are essential, together with the ability to problem solve and work cooperatively as a member of a team.
Science qualifications, including science communication, will be highly regarded. An interest in science and/or medicine is a must!
