Administrative Assistant (Facilities and Campus Management) (PR343/17-18)
The appointee will provide frontline support to the daily operation of a Learning Commons on the Ho Sin Hang Campus by monitoring the usage of facilities and executing rules and regulations, handling enquiries and bookings, analysing data and preparing reports, supervising a team of student helpers, and liaising with internal and external parties to ensure the smooth running of the Learning Commons.
Applicants should possess a recognised degree with relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institution. Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua, and proficiency in computer applications are required. Experience in providing support services to students will be a definite advantage. He/She should be service-orientated, self-motivated with good problem solving skills, able to work independently and in a team, and willing to take up extra responsibilities. Shortlisted candidates are required to sit for a written test.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
