About the position

Bond University’s goal is to have the best alumni relations program of any Australian University. Bond’s alumni are one of the most important stakeholder groups and the University is committed to developing a program which fosters and enhances the relationship with the goal of building life-long relationships.

Reporting to the Alumni Relations Manager, the Alumni Database Manager will be responsible for managing the University’s Alumni Database. Key responsibilities of the role will include, overseeing the daily operation of the database, communication plans, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data, technology management and providing end-use training & support. Developing and maintaining efficient systems for data cleansing, gift processing and relationship management is also a large part of the position.

About the person:

The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in IT, marketing, communications or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing a complex database is required, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality, and to ensure a high degree of accuracy with alumni records.

Strong-organisational skills are essential along with the ability to solve problems with integrity and dedication to the mission of the University. Previous experience working in a fundraising or communications role is highly desired.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $75,678.12 plus 9.5% superannuation p.a
