We are looking for a new Lecturer or Senior Lecturer or Reader to join this growing and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will teach and assess a diverse student cohort as part of the MSc programmes in Air Transport Management and in Airport Planning & Management in Cranfield and also at locations in Singapore and Oman. They will also contribute to our high-quality consultancy work as well as continuing professional development short courses for industrial clients.

Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in a field related to air transport management (with a preferred focus on Airline commercial and/or operational management and/or digital transformation of aviation business) or equivalent industry experience.

Role Description

The Centre for Air Transport Management is the leading world centre for postgraduate teaching in air transport management with a worldwide reputation for excellence in research in air transport and its associated industries.

We are now looking for a new Lecturer or Senior Lecturer or Reader to join this growing and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will teach and assess a diverse student cohort as part of the MSc programmes in Air Transport Management and in Airport Planning & Management in Cranfield and also at locations in Singapore and Oman. They will also contribute to our high-quality consultancy work as well as continuing professional development short courses for industrial clients.

Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in a field related to air transport management (with a preferred focus on Airline commercial and/or operational management and/or digital transformation of aviation business) or equivalent industry experience, plus they should be able to demonstrate relevant experience of air transport management. In return, you will join a highly respected and welcoming international team, and be supported in your development as an academic at Cranfield.

For appointment at the senior lecturer or Reader level, applicants will be expected to be able to demonstrate sustained achievement as an expert in their field and the ability to play an active ambassadorial role for the University which may include keynote or invited presentations or chairing sessions at international conferences.
