Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Anaesthesiology

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Anaesthesiology, to commence as soon as possible for three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences or Neuroscience. Experience in basic methods of molecular biology, biochemistry, and rodent behavioural tests, preferably with experiences in chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP), methylated DNA immunoprecipitation (MeDIP) and genetic engineering technology is required. Publication record in the related study areas in pain medicine is also an advantage. Applicants should be self-motivated, be able to work independently as well as in a team with the ability to multitask in a multifunctional laboratory. The appointee is expected to participate in translational research projects to study epigenetic regulation of neuropathic pain in animal models and humans.
