At Teesside University, we put our students at the heart of everything we do.  It’s why we set great store by enabling all students to realise their full potential and achieve the careers they deserve.

Our approach is based on close links between teaching, research and business engagement, all informed by deep and enduring relationships with employers. A focus on continuous improvement means we work consistently to build on strong performance in graduate outcomes.

We now have a senior-level vacancy for the right candidate to lead on our Student Futures Strategy and help deliver career success for Teesside graduates.

As Head of Student Futures, you will play a strategic role in delivering an institution-wide approach, building strong internal and external relationships and embedding best practice in co- and extra-curricular activity, to achieve a significant, measurable increase in graduate-level career outcomes.

Based in a business-facing department, you will be responsible for our Careers & Employability Team and Enterprise Team, liaising extensively with both employers and academic Schools, service directorates, and the Students’ Union.

You will have a strong background in building and managing successful employer relationships and significant experience in a related role.  Importantly, you will also have the drive, imagination and ability to engage colleagues and employers in creating future-ready graduates and putting them on the path to success.

If you want the opportunity to help shape the futures of our talented students, apply now.
