This is an excellent opportunity to join the Information Resources Team at Aston University working on the management, ordering and discoverability of library books, journals and databases.
This is a varied role where you will be one of a team working on the range of activities that ensure books and other materials are ordered, added to reading lists, discoverable and in time discarded. You will have one or more areas of work that you specialise in as well as working with the team on the range of general activities.
You will need to be confident in handling bibliographic details and in using a range of systems for ordering and recording details. You will need an excellent eye for detail, be able to work accurately and have the ability to take an overview in order to understand how the different tasks and systems inter-relate.
You will also need a customer focus, good communication skills and have strong team working skills. You will be educated to A Level or equivalent standard.
