The Environmental Health and Safety Health Physicist (EHS HP) Serves as the regulatory-mandated responsible official for radioisotope and linear accelerator safety at Boston University and Boston Medical Center, and is a primary contact person to the regulatory agencies which oversee these modalities. This position provides support and expertise to patients, clinicians, researchers, and other members of the BU/BMC community in regards to radioisotope radiation safety and linear accelerator safety. This position may be appointed Radiation Safety Officer with responsibilities defined in such appointment.

Required Skills

Education and experience: Specialty Board Certification recognizable by NRC under 10 CFR 35 Minimum of four years of health physics experience at a medical institution

Master's degree required.
