Research Study Technician, Center for Regenerative Medicine
Thinking about medicine or molecular biology research as a future career possibility? The Wilson Laboratory in the Center for Regenerative Medicine (CReM) and Boston University School of Medicine is looking for a new Laboratory Research Technician and Lab Manager. Our work utilizes patient-derived stem cells to study lung development and genetic causes of lung disease. You will learn a wide variety of techniques, including stem cell tissue culture, CRISPR/Cas9-based genomic editing of patient-derived stem cells, DNA and RNA extraction and manipulation, qPCR, protein analysis, cloning, and other molecular biology skills. Your time will primarily be spent performing experiments and you will work as part of a highly motivated, fun, and successful team in an outstanding environment!
Lab experience helpful but not required. Position will be to start in June 2018 and a 2 year commitment is required.
Bachelor's degree required.
